Paro Tshechu, or Paro Festival, is one of Bhutan’s grandest and most vibrant celebrations, held over five days in spring when peach blossoms paint the valleys in color. The festival comes alive with rainbow-hued mask dancers performing against the backdrop of the majestic white Paro Dzong, melodious songs, and the joyous spirit of the locals, offering visitors an unforgettable cultural experience and a chance to mingle with Bhutanese people. The first day’s mask dances take place within the Dzong courtyard, followed by performances in the outer courtyard on subsequent days, culminating with the unfurling of the sacred thongdrel (large tapestry) on the final day. This 6 Nights 7 Days Bhutan Tour also includes visits to other iconic destinations such as Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro, making it a perfect blend of cultural immersion and scenic exploration.
